Top 5 Luxury Caravans At This Years Motorhome and Caravan Show
Search: in
All the caravan manufacturers have brought their top models along to the show and frankly, almost all off them are great. This is our list of the top 5 Luxury caravans at the show. We didn’t give them any specific criteria; we just asked them to judge it on how they would feel staying in the caravan for three weeks. It’s subjective, but hey, so is caravanning.

5. Lunar Delta RS - £23k

This behemoth from Lunar is brilliant and a proper home from home. The build feels solid (but because it’s a lunar is light), the equipment is fantastic, the seats and bed are very comfy and it’s very light and airy inside. Price wasn’t going to be a factor but the reason it lost out to the caravan at number 4 is the fact they’re very similar but this costs £1000 more.

4. Sterling Eccles LUX – 554 Model - £22k

The whole Sterling Eccles range was brilliant in our opinion but it’s the 544 model that caught our eye when thinking about absolute luxury, especially if it’s only two people staying in it. The fixed double bed, large bathroom and good living area make it perfect in our opinion. The décor is brilliant, the seats are comfy and the build quality seems great.

3. Swift Corniche 21/6 - £18k

As a family van, we couldn’t fault it. Plenty of space for six people and the layout means that the adults can get a bit of peace and quiet should they wish. Again, price wasn’t taken into consideration but £18,000 for such good caravan does seem like good value. Our staff noted that it seemed a bit dark inside but this could just be due to the fact it was inside a big exhibition centre…

2. Adria Adora 642UP - £17k

This is a brilliant caravan that very nearly took the top spot in this list. What we really like was the rear bedroom that featured two distinct, raised single beds. This makes it a very elegant solution for a family of four and the kids get a ‘proper’ bedroom. The price is very good, so is the build quality and overall it’s very nice place to be.

1. Stealth Concordia Tranqulity - £20k

This takes the top spot according to our staff. It’s a brilliant family caravan that proves functional doesn’t mean you have to forego styling. The styling is a bit marmite but we all loved it; it’s modern, it’s spacious, it feels sturdy and above all it has that extra something that other caravans just don’t. It’s hard to fathom but noticeable. Each one is built to order which makes it that little bit more special. A worthy winner.

Another worthy mention is the Swift Conqueror 630 (pictured). We loved this caravan and if money were no object then I think this is the one I would buy. It’s £22k as standard but with some extras added by yourselves or by swift this could increase dramatically. The silver exterior and stylish interior really caught our eye. It’s very spacious and offers the ultimate luxury. One day…

Not everybody can afford the caravans in this list, fortunately the show had a very high number of caravans at the lower end of the price range and we've also picked our top 5 touring caravans from these.
