This camp and caravan site has been rated as one of the best places to go with the family. It is a pretty large site with six separate fields and unmarked pitches surrounded by more fields which are home to horses and plenty of wild bracken.
On the site itself you’ll find a dancehall which is fantastic as an indoor play area for the kids, and the owners actively encourage campfires and traditional sing-alongs in the evening.
Safari Britain – Sussex
This place is all about a stress-free experience. There are loads of board games and even guitars to play with at Safari Britain. What’s more is that if you forget any of your cooking equipment there is a fully stocked kitchen with the biggest frying pan you’ve ever seen to cook a meal for the family.
If you want a relaxing evening once the kids have gone to bed the local farm shop will even deliver cider to your door – perfect!
Rosedale Abbey
This country caravan park located in Yorkshire is definitely one for the active children. There are rope swings by the river and plenty of scenery to explore without having to venture too far.
There is also a large playing field which is ideal for a family kick about and all sorts of other games.
