Description of Beds Suitable for couples or a small family, Idris can sleep a total of three, 2 adults and 1 child. It has a large, comfortable king-size bed designed to accommodate tall people at (183L x 169W x 17Th cm). The king-size bed is folded down from the bench seating area, and we have found it large enough to sleep a couple and a toddler comfortably, however, if you want more room there is another bed. There is one underneath on a metal camp bed where an adult or child can sleep (180L x 57W x 18Th cm). The king-sized bed is super comfortable so you can rest assured of a good night's sleep after your adventures in the wild.

Description of Seating: Idris can legally carry four passengers comfortably. There are a total of four 3-point belted seats with headrests, three in the front and one in the back. A child's seat can be fixed in the back using seat belts. A child's seat can be added as an optional extra.

Idris has multiple seating options, with the spacious U-shaped benching area seating 5 people comfortably for a game of cards. The two seat-belted front seats swivel to face the back and the remaining seat-belted chair is in the back. This means that you can choose to leave the king-sized bed made up and enjoy sociable seating and views by the side door.

Description of Electrical Setup: The vans electrics consists of one lithium 100AH battery with a 500 Watt inverter. There is a solar panel which helps top up the battery. There is no mains hook-up, as Idris has been designed for off-grid exploring. There are four sockets for charging your phone, computer etc. There is a 12-volt fridge, to keep food and drink cool in warmer months. A Renology DC-DC charger enables safe and efficient charging of leisure batteries during periods of low sunshine.

About the Area: Idris lives in the foothills of Cadair Idris, which provide multiple avenues of adventure on foot, bike or water. We conduct changeovers at our local pub, The George III in Penmaenpool, situated on the stunning Mawddach trail. We then take customers to park in our private drive nearby. We can also meet people at the local train station, at Fairbourne, which has a direct line to the Midlands and North Wales.

The attractions in this area include breathtaking mountain lakes, sandy beaches, mountain trails, sailing, canoeing, historic towns and castles, mines and waterfalls and local beer to name but a few. This area is truly stunning, hire in the hills and save money - don't waste it driving on boring motorways getting to the good stuff.

Cooking Equipment: We love cooking and Idris has everything you need to make a meal to remember, with a simple two-hob, and sink arrangement. There is a large frying pan, a vintage copper kettle, an array of cooking pans, and cooking implements. There are also two sharp knives, a chopping board, an espresso coffee maker, a bottle opener, a cheese grater, a toaster for gas hobs, a colander, cutlery for four and enamel plates and bowls. There are also five enamel cups, two ceramic cups and a selection of plastic wine glasses. In addition to this, we include tea bags, salt and pepper, a selection of herbs and spices and a bottle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There is also a selection of tea towels, aprons and oven gloves. Washing up liquid, cloths and a small sweeping brush are also included. A welcome hamper with tasty treats welcomes you upon arrival.

Water and Sanitation: Idris has two outdoor solar showers with shower curtains, which can be heated using the sun or water warmed on the hob and are available upon request. A removable adult camping potty and pop-up privacy tent can be included upon request. A foldable hand shovel is also part of the kit. Idris has two 10-litre water tanks, one under the sink with a foot pump, and another stored in the rear as a backup for cooking and drinking.

Audio Equipment: Idris has a solid inbuilt speaker system, with Bluetooth and audio input for your phone and a CD player. It also has an effective Sat Nav and a backing sensor.

Heating: To keep the chill off, Idris is well-insulated and has an easy-to-use diesel heater, which can keep you exploring outside of the summer months. We also put in a folding fire pit (under the sink) and a set of folding stools. An outside folding table can be included upon request.
