Description of Sleeping arrangements: River's sleeping area is converted from the dining area used during the day, the memory foam cushions transform into a larger than king size bed.

Description of Seating: River has three belted seats with headrests in the cab, but also gives the opportunity to entertain in the living space, comfortably seating 6 adults.

Description of Electrical Setup: River is off-grid with a solar panel and inverter to support the fridge/freezer and three pin plug sockets, there are also multiple USB and 12V charging points. We have an optional external electric hook up available under River's extras.

About the area: River is located in the countryside around Llanfyllin, Powys creating a tranquil start to your holiday. It is a great base to head west to Snowdonia, or east to the Shropshire Hills AONB, both offering an abundance of walking, cycling, nature and creative events. Pop into Llanfyllin village to visit the refill shop or The Spar to stock up on local goodies before setting off on your trip.

Parking: If you drive to collect River, you are welcome to leave your car in its normal spot. We live in a very rural area with plenty of parking, of course this will be at owners risk. We are also happy to collect you if you travel by air or train, this would be free from Welshpool train station, please get in touch to discuss alternate locations and additional pricing.

Cooking Equipment: River has a three ring gas burner, but the highlight in the kitchen area is the gorgeous copper jam pan from France. We also provide cooking equipment, including pans, utensils, peeler, grater, knives, bottle opener, cafetiere, cutlery, plates, cups, bowls and an optional outdoor mini BBQ.

Water and Sanitation: River has a simple cold water set up with the clean and grey water tanks under the countertop, so you can easily fill and empty for kitchen and drinking water use. There is space for a chemical toilet to be included under the seat, please check out River's additional extras to include this in your rental.

Type of Heating: River is fully insulated and great for Spring & Summer trips!

Extra Information: We believe in making as little environmental impact as possible and encourage our guests to do the same. For each rental we will plant a tree and also provide a litter picker and re-usable rubbish bag, so you can participate in the #leaveitbetter campaign, contributing to improving our beautiful countryside.

Conversion Story: River is the first van we converted with Wandering Wheels converters, check out our second van 'Cloud'. It started life as a band's mini bus, the interior having been covered in auto carpet and funky lighting, which you will find repurposed behind the copper splash back. River's conversion was completed in early 2019, so had sadly only had intermittent usage since then, we can't wait for you all to enjoy our cosy, outdoor loving van!
