About the area: Athena is based in the lovely North London suburb of Enfield Chase, which formed part of Henry VIII's hunting ground. Just 3 miles from J25 of the M25, and a few minutes walk from Enfield Chase train station which goes to central London one way, and Hertford North the other way.

Description of Beds: Athena sleeps two adults in a comfy memory foam double bed which is 6ft long. During the day the bed converts to a large U-shape seating area, perfect for extra lounging space, working remotely, or inviting friends in to eat. The LED spotlights and fairylights allow for ambient lighting after a long day of hiking, kayaking, biking or just chilling.

Description of Seating: Athena carries 3 adults in belted seats in the front cab (including the driver). There are no other passenger seats. The seating area can fit 6 people for drinks or dinner.

Description of Electrical Set Up : Athena makes living and working from a van an off-grid dream. Her inverter charges laptops and other mains-powered devices, she has USB ports throughout, charges while driving, has a large 310 W solar panel and also has the ability to plug in at a campsite. Her personal WIFI router means that she is ready for anything. The off-grid maximum input wattage is 800 W.

Cooking Equipment: : Athena is equipped with a two-ring gas hob, a fridge/freezer and a full-size sink. You also have everything you need to cook up a feast for 4 with plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, glasses and ample utensils. There’s also a whistling kettle, small and large saucepan and frying pan. Athena is fitted with ample storage for both food and clothing as well as a small garage at the back

Water and Sanitation: : Athena is fitted with 66L fresh and 50L grey water tanks. Hot water and heating are provided by the on-board boiler.

Audio Equipment: The front cab features three belted seats, air-con, Bluetooth, DAB radio and cruise control, for a comfortable and easy driving experience.

Type of Heating: Athena has onboard heating and an extractor roof window which means she’s perfect for both winter and summer travel

Pet Information: Maximum of one pet only.

Conversion Story: We were looking online for the perfect campervan for a while. As soon as I saw Athena for sale I knew she was the one for us. She was the only campervan we viewed, when you know, you know! The previous owners did the conversion themselves and they put a lot of thought into the build and layout. They were meticulous in documenting the conversion, so we have all the plans and photos. It was the insulation, the solar panels, gas heating, mobile router (and high-spec finish) that sold us as we knew we wanted to be off grid and in the winter. We have enhanced Athena ourselves with additional storage and finishing touches.

About the Owner: We are Lorren and Rob. We are fairly new to van life but it has always been our dream. Within six weeks of buying her we set off to Spain for two months and can't wait for more adventures. We are airbnb hosts so we are used to hosting and providing excellent customer service.
