2009 Auto-Sleeper Symbol motorhome review
The Auto-Sleeper Symbol has always been one of the best van conversion motorhomes on the market for years now, and the 2009 model is fantastic too.
It is a fabulous motorhome, but it is also equally comfortable being used as your main vehicle for getting around town in.
The entirely level floor is an excellent feature to this motorhome and is quite a rare thing to find in van conversions.
There are most probably cheaper options to go for than the Symbol, they may also be better equipped, however then won?t have that durability that this motorhome has. And they most certainly won?t retain a high re-sale price, something the Symbol does very well.
The lounge area is comfortable however the cab seats will only swivel round 90 degrees due to the sofa being close, however this is where the level floor comes in handy and makes the room feel more whole.
The kitchen in the 2009 Auto-Sleeper Symbol has a piece of pull-out work surface, which serves well to increase the preparation room. There is also a unitary spark-ignition cooker and a handy dual-fuel hob. There is also a nice sized sink with a drainer and a 70ltr Dometic fridge.
Using the passenger seat as a dining chair does make dining for four an option, which is a huge bonus, because no one wants to be left to eat alone.
There is plenty of storage in this motorhome, with a slide-out wire mesh show tray under one of the rear seats and a large but shallow slide out tray under the rearmost floor which you can only get to when the rear doors are open.
